Pro AVL supported this Doral church with acoustically aware audio and video systems that had to serve a large sanctuary without pulling attention away from the worship environment. The project called for clear spoken-word reinforcement, dependable music support, and practical coordination between clergy, musicians, and technical staff.

The sanctuary’s architecture created both opportunity and constraint. Public references describe a modern church with a bright white interior, high roof forms, clerestory daylight, curved seating, and a large main sanctuary. In a room like that, AV work has to respect the visual character of the space while still giving every seat a consistent experience.

Large worship rooms place unusual pressure on audio and video systems. Spoken word must remain intelligible from the front rows to the rear seating areas. Music needs enough presence to support services without becoming harsh or uneven. Video support must be visible enough to help the congregation follow along, but not so dominant that it changes the feel of the sanctuary.

The sheet record specifically notes complex architectural acoustics. That is the central technical challenge here. A bright, open, highly finished sanctuary can create reflection, timing, and coverage issues if loudspeakers, microphones, and signal paths are not planned carefully.
